Leading media agency group, IPG Mediabrands, signs global deal with Lolly
Lolly has signed a global partnership agreement with IPG Mediabrands. The agreement adds Lolly to IPG Mediabrands’s media plan for their clients across the 140 markets they operate in globally. IPG Mediabrands will act as Lolly’s billing operator for their brand clients. IPG Mediabrands is a division of Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc., the American publicly traded advertising company. IPG is widely regarded as one of the “Big Four” agency companies, alongside Omnicom, WPP and Publicis. The company has five major networks: FCB, McCann Worldgroup, MullenLowe Group, Marketing Specialists, and IPG Mediabrands. Flagship IPG Mediabrands agencies include UM, Initiative, and Cadreon.
“Not only will this agreement allow for a good deal of the biggest and most popular brands to be found on our platform, but it will also support a rapid expansion of Lolly across all the markets in which IPG Mediabrands have local offices”, commented Richard Holmes, CEO of Lolly.
Lolly and IPG Mediabrands will collaborate on a roll-out plan across IPG Mediabrands’ key markets and clients. IPG Mediabrands gains access to Lolly’s location-based system, adding points-of-sale not yet added by Lolly users. Brands are able to create promotional campaigns to build a direct relationship with existing and new brand customers. This way IPG Mediabrands ensures that none of their clients miss out on any opportunities when customers start interacting with their brand profiles and campaigns.
